NEW CONSIGNMENT PROCESS - IMPORTANT PLEASE READ BELOW!!!

Starting January 28th.

Over the past few years we have experienced significant growth in our inventory, which is fantastic.  As we grow, we are updating our consignment process with the intent to improve the consignor experience.  In the end, we expect with these changes to be able to accept drop offs for a longer period of time through a season and reduce the time from drop-off to posting on the portal.  

THE UPDATED CONSIGNMENT PROCESS IS AS FOLLOWS:  

1. Donate/Donate:  No Change - Drop off anytime on Wednesday, Friday & Saturday 11-6pm.
2. Donate/Return or Return/Return:  Must Schedule Appointment - Please call 734.994.4646 starting Saturday, 1/10/2026 To schedule an appointment for drop off and review. We will set aside 15 minutes for less than 20 items and 30 minutes for more than 20 Items to review items while you shop.

As a reminder we have the following seasonal consignment membership options. 

1. Donate/Donate: Upon drop off you select to have any items we do not take be DONATED after review.  If we accept the items for the  sales floor, you select DONATE for any items that do not sell at the end of the season. (Pricing details below)
2. Donate/Return: Upon drop off you select to have any items we do not take be RETURNED to you after review.  If we accept the items for the sales floor, you select DONATE for any items that do not sell at the end of the season (Pricing details below)
3. Return/Return: Upon drop off you select to have any items we do not take be RETURNED to you after review.  If we accept the items for the sales floor, you select RETURN to you for any items that do not sell after 60 days on the sales floor. (Pricing details below)

**We have learned that the RETURN process adds time to our processing, which makes these adjustments necessary.

Thank you for your interest in consigning with Top Drawer. We accept women's apparel and accessories in like-new and gently-used condition, including clothing sizes XXS-3XL and shoes, jewelry, handbags, and accessories.

We offer two consignment seasons: Fall/Winter running September through February and Spring/Summer running March through August. We accept like-new and gently-worn clothing, handbags, shoes, jewelry, and accessories. Consignments are on the salesfloor for a minimum of 60 days. The first 30 days are full price and the second 30 days are discounted by 25%. The consignment split between the consignor and the store is 40/60, meaning we return 40% of the sales price to you by check or store credit. To consign with our store, you need to purchase a seasonal membership:

DONATE MEMBERSHIP (DONATE/DONATE or DONATE/RETURN)

• $10 per season

• Unlimited items

• Unsold consignments after the 60 days will be held for periodic 50% off sales and a final 75% off sale at the end of the season

• Items that do not sell at 75% off will be donated to a local women’s charity

RETURN MEMBERSHIP (RETURN/RETURN)

• $20 per season

• A limit of 20 items per month

• Unsold consignments after the 60 days will be held for you to pick-up within 7 days

• Items that are not picked-up will be donated to a local women’s charity

Do clothes need to be on hangers?

A: No, clothes do not need to be on hangers. Folded in a shopping bag or box is fine - please no garbage bags. We ask that clothes be in clean, saleable condition, with no tears, missing buttons, stains, odors, pet hair,  or other imperfections. 

What type of consignments are popular?

A: For clothing, natural fabrics such as cotton, linen, silk, and cashmere are top sellers. For jewelry and accessories, statement pieces and items that are eye-catching and unique are popular.
